My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and had a great meal here. From the time we entered to when we left, the staff was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Our server was Lillie and she started us off with some complementary hush puppies, which were delicious. My wife ordered the Tricky Fish platter (blackened redfish, crawfish etouffee on rice, and fried okra) and I ordered the fried catfish platter, which came with fries, cole slaw, and two dipping sauces. Every item was freshly made, seasoned nicely, and cooked perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire dine-in experience. The portion size was generous and the prices for the high quality food were very reasonable. The service, by Lillie and others, was excellent. We are fans and we will be going back.

Busy Friday afternoon, service was remarkable! The waitress made some great recommendations and shared what menu items were her favorite. It made it much easier to decide what I wanted to try since it was my first time to a Tricky Fish. The fried green tomatoes were seasoned so well and the shrimp on top was an added treat. I had the fried catfish and shrimp platter, it was fried to perfection! Splurged on the peanut butter pie with no regrets, silky and smooth sweet and savory... it balanced the meal out. Atmosphere as lively, a wonderful place to gather with spirited family and friends. Decor was pretty cool. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

We ordered fish Tacos, fish & chips, catfish po’boy and kids chicken fingers. Everything was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The portion size is good for a person. Hubby enjoyed his drink too. Our server Cornor, was very proactive and friendly and he kept checking on us in intervals. Appreciate his efforts. The place is clean and has a good fun vibe. We enjoyed being here and definitely will come back. Good place to hangout with friends or with family.

I love this place! This is by far the best place for fried seafood and raw oysters. Tricky Fish is welcoming, customer service oriented and the absolute best experience I have had in a long while. We sat, had drinks and even stayed longer and bought more company to stay longer. This place felt like home (I am from Maryland) and I love the bay oysters, familiar taste of the fried seafood and the dang drinks was just awesome. Go here, you will love it!

Bacon shrimp, catfish platter, blackened Mahi tacos were all delicious! The fried okra is awesome as well as the mac and cheese. We will definitely be back. Anna the bartender was absolutely wonderful! Off the beaten path so no wait time for lunch on a holiday weekend Saturday!!!

I had the shrimp and catfish and both were very good. My GF had the Snow Crab Leg, she really enjoyed but would not let post a picture of her. A garden hose would have been beneficial.

Had a sudden craving for fish and chips and decided to come here. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised and haven't enjoyed a dinner out as much as I did tonight. The service was very polite and available without being overbearing. The location and weather today were great for sitting outdoors and watching the shiny Tesla dumpster trucks roll by. But above all else, the food was great and reasonably priced! The fried green tomatoes were some of the best I've had, and the fish and chips were superb. After recently visiting the UK, I have to say these are up there in taste and texture. Of course the "chips" have a Texas twist on them with the Cajun seasoning which was great as well. Top it off with some nice local draft beer, and that's a dinner! Will be back sometime for sure.
